DK (lat.) 15Jer zakon gradi gnev; jer gde nema zakona nema ni prestupa.
SSP (lat.) 15Jer, Zakon izaziva gnev, a gde nema Zakona, nema ni prekršaja.

KJV (66 books) 15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
AFINT (Exp US) 15For the Law produces God’s wrath by exposing and condemning sin, but where there is no law given, there can be no violation or transgression of that law to be charged. 16For this reason, the inheritance comes by faith, so that it may be according to grace—in order that the promise may be guaranteed and made certain to all of Abraham’s spiritual descendants. This includes not only those who follow and possess the Law—believing Jews—but also those who follow the pattern of Abraham’s faith—believing Gentiles. Abraham is the spiritual father of us all, both Jews and Gentiles who believe. 17Just as it stands written in Scripture: “A father of many nations I have appointed and made you”—and this is true in the presence of the God in whom Abraham believed, the God who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not yet exist, speaking of future realities as though they already are.
AFINT (Lit US) 15For the Law works out wrath, but where there is no law, neither is there transgression. 16On account of this, it is by faith, so that it may be according to grace, in order that the promise may be made certain to all the descendants, not only to the follower of the Law, but also to the follower of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. 17Just as it is written: “A father of many nations I have made you”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls the things that do not exist as though they existed,
ASV 15for the law worketh wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression. 16For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17(as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.
BSB 15because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law, there is no transgression. 16Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may rest on grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring — not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 17As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the presence of God, in whom he believed, the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being what does not yet exist.
DRA 15For the law worketh wrath. For where there is no law, neither is there transgression. 16Therefore is it of faith, that according to grace the promise might be firm to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17(As it is written: I have made thee a father of many nations,) before God, whom he believed, who quickeneth the dead; and calleth those things that are not, as those that are.
EMTV 15because the law produces wrath; for where there is no law neither is there transgression. 16Therefore it is of faith that it may be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those of the law, but also to those of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17(just as it is written, “I have appointed you a father of many nations”) before God, whom he believed, the One who gives life to the dead and calls those things which are not as though they were;
FBV 15For the law results in punishment—but if there's no law then it cannot be broken. 16So the promise is based on trusting God. It is provided as a free gift, guaranteed to all the children of Abraham—not merely to those who follow the law, but also to those who trust like Abraham, the father of us all. 17As Scripture says, “I've made you the father of many nations.” For in the presence of God, Abraham trusted in the God who makes the dead alive and speaks into existence what didn't previously exist.
GNV 15For the Lawe causeth wrath: for where no Lawe is, there is no transgression. 16Therefore it is by faith, that it might come by grace, and the promise might be sure to all the seede, not to that onely which is of the Lawe: but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of vs all, 17(As it is written, I haue made thee a father of many nations) euen before God whom he beleeued, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those thinges which be not, as though they were.
LSV 15for the Law works wrath; for where law is not, neither [is] transgression. 16Because of this [it is] of faith, that [it may be] according to grace, for the promise being sure to all the seed, not to that which [is] of the Law only, but also to that which [is] of the faith of Abraham, 17who is father of us all (according as it has been written: “A father of many nations I have set you,”) before Him whom he believed—God, who is quickening the dead, and is calling the things that are not as being.
MSB 15because the law brings wrath. For where there is no law, there is no transgression.
NASB 15for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation. 16For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17(as it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, that is, God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that do not exist. NASB 2020
NIV (US) 15because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. 16Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 17As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
NMV 15Because the law works wrath: for where no law is, [there is] no transgression. 16Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Avraham [Exalted Father]; who is the father of us all, 17(As it is written, I have made youi a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God-The Father, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were.
OJB 15for gezetz (law) brings about the Charon Af Hashem, and where there is no gezetz there is no averah (transgression, violation of the Law). 16For this reason the havtachah (promise) is of emunah (faith), in order that it might be in accordance with unmerited Chen v'Chesed Hashem, that the havtachah might be certain to all the zera (seed), not to him who is of the Torah only, but also to bnei emunat Avraham (the sons of the faith of Avraham Avinu, to those who are of the faith of Abraham). Avraham Avinu is the father of us all, 17as it is written, AV HAMON GOYIM N'TATICHA (I have made you father of many nations). This was in the sight of Hashem in whom “he believed,” G-d who gives Chayyim to the Mesim and calls things which have no existence into existence.
RV 15for the law worketh wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression. 16For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17(as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.
TCENT 15because the law brings wrath; for where there is no law, there is no transgression. 16For this reason the promise comes by faith, so that it may be according to grace and be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring, not only to the one who is of the law, but also to the one who is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17(just as it is written, “I have made yoʋ the father of many nations”). He is our father in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into being what does not yet exist.
T4T [4:14–17] 14–15If we think that it is those who obey God’s laws who will receive what he has promised, it is useless for us to trust in him. And what he promised is worthless. Remember that it is stated in God’s law [PRS] that he will punish people who do not perfectly obey them, and remember that wherever [MTY] laws exist, people disobey them [LIT]. 16So it is because we trust in God that we will receive the things that he has promised. It is not because we perfectly obey God’s laws. He wants ◄to erase the record of our sins/to declare us no longer guilty► without our earning it. As a result, what God now promises, he guarantees to give to all people who are Abraham’s spiritual descendants. He promises to do that not only for us Jewish believers, who have God’s laws and trust in him as Abraham did, but also for those non-Jews who do not have God’s laws but who trust in him as Abraham did. Abraham is the spiritual ancestor of all of us believers. 17What is written {What Moses wrote} in the Scriptures about what God promised Abraham shows that this is true. God said to him, “It is in order that you (sg) may be the ancestor of many ethnic groups that I have chosen you.” God guaranteed that he would give Abraham many descendants. Abraham confidently believed that God would do that,
