BKR 4Pohřbeni jsme tedy s ním skrze křest v smrt, abychom, jakož z mrtvých vstal Kristus k slávě Otce, tak i my v novotě života chodili. 5Nebo poněvadž jsme v něj vštípeni připodobněním smrti jeho, tedy i vzkříšením jemu připodobněni budeme,

KJV (66 books) 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
AFINT (Exp US) 4Therefore, we have been buried together with Him through baptism into His death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the powerful glory of the Father, so we also are called to walk and conduct our lives in the newness of resurrection life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness and experience of His death, most certainly we will also be united with Him in the experience of a resurrection like His—both now spiritually and in the future physically.
AFINT (Lit US) 4Therefore, we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we are to walk in the newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly also we will be united with Him in a resurrection like His.
ASV 4We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
BSB 4We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.
DRA 4For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
EMTV 4Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection;
FBV 4Through baptism we were buried with him in death so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father we too can live a new life. 5If we've become one with him in dying like he did, then we'll be raised like him too.
GNV 4We are buried then with him by baptisme into his death, that like as Christ was raysed vp from the dead to the glorie of the Father, so we also should walke in newnesse of life. 5For if we be planted with him to the similitude of his death, euen so shall we be to the similitude of his resurrection,
LSV 4We were buried together, then, with Him through the immersion into death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become planted together to the likeness of His death, [so] we also will be of the resurrection;
NASB 4Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, NASB 2020
NIV (US) 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
NMV 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Moshiach [Messiah] was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:
OJB 4So then we were co-buried, buried together with KIVRO (Moshiachʼs kever) through a tevilah into mavet, in order that, just as Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach was given the Techiyah (Resurrection) from HaMesim (the Dead ones) through the Kavod HaAv, so we also should have a halakhah (walk) [lifnei Hashem] in hitkhadshut (renewal, regeneration), in Chayyim Chadashim (New Life). 5For if we have become grown together with the very likeness of his histalkus, his mavet (death), we shall certainly also be grown together with the very likeness of his Techiyah from HaMesim (Resurrection).
RV 4We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with him by the likeness of his death, we shall be also by the likeness of his resurrection;
TCENT 4Therefore we were buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection.
T4T 4So, when we were baptized {someone baptized us}, it was as though we were buried with Christ. We were baptized in order to indicate that we would not let our sinful desires make us do what they want us to do, just like people cannot make a corpse do what they want it to do [MET]. We were baptized to signify that we would continually conduct our lives in a new way, just like Christ was caused to live again in a new way by the great power of God his Father. 5Because of our close relationship with Christ, we have separated ourselves from the former way in which we conducted our lives, just like he was separated from his physical life when he died [MET]. But God will also certainly enable us to live in a new way, just like he enabled Christ to live again.
WEB (US) 4We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
WMB (US) 4We were buried therefore with him through immersion into death, that just as Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
