Gabriel eröffnet Daniel das Verständnis über die siebzig Jahrwochen, nach welchen die Heilszeit beginnen sol.
Wie es im Gesetze Moses geschrieben steht, all' dieses Unglück kam über uns. Und wir haben Jahwe, unsern Gott, nicht dadurch begütigt, daß wir uns von unseren Sünden bekehrt und auf deine Treue geachtet hätten.
