Mluvím jako blázen

Zahanbeně přiznávám, že já na něco takového sílu nemám.

Čím se však někdo tak troufale chlubí – teď mluvím jako blázen – na to si troufám i já.

BKR K zahanbení vašemu pravím, rovně jako bychom my nějací špatní byli. Nýbrž v čem kdo smí, (v nemoudrosti mluvím,) smímť i já.

APSD Makahuluya man nga akuon namon nga maluya kami, pero indi gid kami makahimo sinang ila ginahimo. Kon may mangahas nga magpabugal sang bisan ano, ako mangahas man; bisan matuod nga sa sining akon pagpabugal daw sa buang-buang ako.

GNV I speake as concerning the reproche: as though that we had bene weake: but wherein any man is bold (I speake foolishly) I am bold also.
LSV I speak in reference to dishonor, how that we were weak, and in whatever anyone is bold—in foolishness I say [it]—I also am bold.
NIV (US) To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that! Whatever anyone else dares to boast about—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast about.

TCENT To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that! But whatever anyone else dares to boast about—I am speaking like a fool—I also dare to boast about.
T4T I agree that I was not bold enough to treat you in such ways. Ha! Do you think that [IRO] I should feel ashamed because I did not do that? So now, talking like a person who does not have any sense, I will boldly tell you some things about myself, just like those false apostles tell you things about themselves.
WEB (US) To my shame, I speak as though we had been weak. Yet in whatever way anyone is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also.
