Poté nechal hledat Achaziáše. Skrýval se v Samaří, ale tam ho zajali, přivedli ho k Jehuovi a zabili. Potom ho pohřbili, neboť si řekli: „Byl to syn Jošafatův a ten hledal Hospodina celým srdcem.“

V Achaziášově domě tak nezůstal nikdo, kdo by mohl vládnout.2Ki 9:27

BKR Potom hledajíce i Ochoziáše, jali jej, an se pokrýval v Samaří, a přivedše ho k Jéhu, zabili jej a pochovali; nebo řekli: Synť jest Jozafatův, kterýž hledal Hospodina celým srdcem svým. A tak nebylo žádného více z domu Ochoziášova, kterýž by měl moc k obdržení království.

KJV (66 books) And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. NMV And he sought Achazyah [Yehovah possesses]: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Shomron [watch mountain],) and brought him to Yehu [Yehovah is He]: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he [is] the son of Y’hoshafat [Yehovah has judged], who sought the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) with all his heart. So the house of Achazyah [Yehovah possesses] had no power to keep still the kingdom.
