Hur många gånger ska man förlåta?

Då kom Petrus fram till honom och sa: ”Herre, hur många gånger kan min broder synda mot mig och ändå få förlåtelse av mig? Så mycket som upp till sju gånger?”

[Enligt den rabbinska traditionen som baserades på Amos 1:3, räckte det att förlåta någon tre gånger.
