And just as they considered it worthless to retain the true knowledge of God in their minds and deliberately chose to reject Him, God judicially gave them over to a morally worthless and depraved mind, unfit to make right judgments, so that they do things that are utterly inappropriate and contrary to God’s will.
Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
DRAAnd as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient;
EMTVAnd just as they did not approve to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do the things which are not fitting;
FBVSince they didn't consider it worthwhile to get to know God, he abandoned them to their worthless, distrustful way of thinking, doing things that should never be done.
GNVFor as they regarded not to acknowledge God, euen so God deliuered them vp vnto a reprobate minde, to doe those things which are not conuenient,
LSVAnd according as they did not approve of having God in knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mind, to do the things not seemly;
NIV (US)Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
NIV (UK)Furthermore, just as they did not think it worth while to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
NMVAnd even as they did not like to retain God-The Father in [their] knowledge, God-The Father gave them over to a reprobate (rejected; failing the test; lost in sin) mind, to do those things which are not convenient (fit; appropriate; proper (one’s own; peculiar; particular));
OJBAnd as far as G-dʼs worthiness to be recognized by them was concerned, vi-bahlt (since) they marked G-d down as failing the test, therefore G-d (in wrath) delivered them over to a failure of a brain, one that has a mind bent on doing what is perversely unworthy
TCENTAnd just as they considered it worthless to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a worthless mind, to do what is not proper.
T4TFurthermore, because they decided that it was not worthwhile to know God, he allowed their own worthless thoughts to completely control them. As a result, they began doing evil things that God says that people should not do.
