²³Ačťkoli pak ty věci mají tvárnost moudrosti, v způsobu té nábožnosti pošmourné a v povrchní pokoře i v neodpouštění tělu, avšak nejsou v žádné platnosti, když přináležejí toliko k nasycení těla.

KJV (66 books) +2 ²²Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? ²³Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

AFINT (Exp US) +1 ²²(all these prohibitions refer to things destined to perish with use)—based on human commands and teachings? ²³These regulations have an outward appearance of wisdom through self-directed religious practices and false humility and severe treatment of the body, but they possess no value in restraining indulgence of the flesh.

AFINT (Lit US) +1 ²²(all of which apply to things subject to destruction through use)—according to the commandments and teachings of men? ²³These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-directed piety and self-abasement and ascetic treatment of the body, but they are of no value against the gratification of the flesh.

ASV +1 ²²(all which things are to perish with the using), after the precepts and doctrines of men? ²³Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will-worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but are not of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

BSB +1 ²²These will all perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. ²³Such restrictions indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-prescribed worship, their false humility, and their harsh treatment of the body; but they are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

DRA ²²Which all are unto destruction by the very use, according to the precepts and doctrines of men. ²³Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in superstition and humility, and not sparing the body; not in any honour to the filling of the flesh.

EMTV ²²which things are all for corruption with the using, according to the commands and teaching of men? ²³These things indeed have a reputation of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and severity on the body, but are not of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

FBV ²²These commands refer to things that don't last since they're used up, and they're based on man-made requirements and teachings. ²³Such rules may make some kind of sense to those who practice self-centered piety, who are so proud of being humble, and who “mortify the body;” but in reality they don't help at all in dealing with sinful desires.

GNV ²²Which al perish with the vsing, and are after the commandements and doctrines of men. ²³Which thinges haue in deede a shewe of wisdome, in voluntarie religion and humblenesse of minde, and in not sparing the body, which are thinges of no valewe, sith they perteine to the filling of the flesh.

LSV ²²which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men, ²³which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in self-willed religion, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body—not of any value to satisfying the flesh.

NASB ²²(which all refer to things destined to perish with use)—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of man? ²³These are matters which do have the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and humility and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence. NASB 2020

NIV (US) +1 ²²These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. ²³Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

NMV ²²Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? ²³Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

OJB ²²The things referred to are all destined to deterioration with use, according to the humanly contrived mitzvot and the humanly contrived chukim (laws) of mere Bnei Adam, ²³Which things have a superficial appearance of chochmah in self-imposed religion and mystical asceticism and severe physical mortification, but are of no value against the indulgence of the yetzer (the so-called basar unrenewed and unregenerated by the Ruach Hakodesh).

TCENT ²²Such regulations are based on the commandments and doctrines of men, and apply to things that will all decay with use. ²³Although these regulations have a semblance of wisdom in self-imposed piety, false humility, and severe treatment of the body, they are of no value in restraining fleshly indulgence.

T4T ²²All those things are intended to cease to exist when we use them. And do not obey such regulations/rules, because they are what mere human teachers command and teach. ²³Do not obey such regulations/rules; they only cause people to do what their self-directed nature wants to do. Those regulations seem to be wise because they urge people to worship as mere human teachers have decided. They urge that people should humiliate themselves, and that people should treat their bodies harshly. But those regulations/rules do not help people at all to not do the sinful things that their self-directed nature wants to do.

WEB (US) +7 ²²(all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? ²³These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body, but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
