KJV (66 books) +2 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

AFINT (Exp US) What then is the conclusion? What Israel as a nation is seeking—righteousness and God’s favor—this it did not obtain and achieve. But the elect remnant—those chosen by grace—obtained it, and the rest of the nation were hardened in their unbelief.

AFINT (Exp UK) What then is the conclusion? What Israel as a nation is seeking—righteousness and God’s favour—this it did not obtain and achieve. But the elect remnant—those chosen by grace—obtained it, and the rest of the nation were hardened in their unbelief.

AFINT (Lit US) +1 What then? What Israel is seeking, this it did not obtain. But the elect obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

ASV +1 What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened:

BSB +1 What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,

DRA What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it; and the rest have been blinded.

EMTV What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

FBV So what do we conclude? That the people of Israel didn't achieve what they were striving for—only the chosen, while the rest became hard-hearted.

GNV What then? Israel hath not obtained that he sought: but the election hath obteined it, and the rest haue bene hardened,

LSV What then? What Israel seeks after, this it did not obtain, and the chosen obtained, and the rest were hardened,

NASB What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; NASB 2020

NIV (US) +1 What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened,

NMV What then? Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heal Of God] has not obtained that which he seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded

OJB What then? What Yisroel sought for, that is what it did not obtain; but hannivcharim (the elect, the chosen ones) obtained it. And the rest were hardened.

TCENT What then? Israel did not obtain what it was seeking. The chosen obtained it, but the rest were hardened,

T4T Since God chose only some people of Israel, this is what I conclude: [RHQ] Most of the people of Israel did not find the way for him to erase the record of their sins, even though some of them were earnestly looking for it. The people of Israel whom God had chosen found it, but the rest of them were {God} made spiritually insensitive/unresponsive.

WEB (US) +7 What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.
