KJV (66 books) +2 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

AFINT (Exp US) +1 But do not miss this crucial point, beloved: God’s experience of time is not like ours. What seems to us like a single day may be as long as a thousand years to Him, and a thousand years no more than a day.

AFINT (Lit US) +1 Now, do not let this one thing escape your notice, beloved, that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day.

ASV +1 But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

DRA But of this one thing be not ignorant, my beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

NMV But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord - Kurios as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

TCENT But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.

T4T Dear friends, I want you to understand well that the Lord God is willing to wait a long time to judge the people in the world! How much time passes before the Lord God judges the people in the world does not matter to him! He considers that one day passes no more quickly than 1,000 years, and he also considers that 1,000 years pass as quickly as one day passes to us!

WEB (US) +7 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
