Now Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] and Achima’atz [my brother is anger (wrath)] detained (held) by ‘Ein-Rogel (a place near Jerusalem) [Fount of the Fuller (washer and/or bleacher of clothes)]; for they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went and told them; and they went and told king David [beloved].2Sa 15:27

While they were at En-Rogel, a female servant of the two priests would frequently go to them and report to them what was happening, and then they would go and report it to King David.
