Jhn John, chapter The Gospel According to John, chapter 15
I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer (or rancher).
Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every [branch] that bears fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.Mat 15:13; Gal 5:22
Now you2f are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.Jhn 13:10; 1Jn 2:7
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you2f, except you2f abide in me.
I am the vine, you2f [are] the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you2f can do nothing.Act 4:12
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.Ezk 15:4; Mat 3:10; Mat 7:19
If you2f abide in me, and my words abide in you, you2f shall ask what you2f will, and it shall be done unto you.Jhn 14:13; Jhn 16:23; 1Jn 3:22
Herein is my Father glorified, that you2f bear much fruit; so shall you2f be my disciples.
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you2f in my love.
If you2f keep my commandments, you2f shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, That you2f love one another, as I have loved you.Jhn 13:34; 1Jn 3:11; 1Jn 4:21; Eph 5:2; 1Th 4:9
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
You2f are my friends, if you2f do whatsoever I command you.
From this time forth (from now on) I call you not servants; for the slave knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.Eph 1:9; Eph 3:5
You2f have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you2f should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you2f shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.Mrk 16:15
These things I command you, that you2f love one another.
If the world hate you, you2f know that it hated me before [it hated] you.1Jn 3:13
If you2f were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you2f are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The slave is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.Mat 10:24; Mat 24:9; Mrk 13:9; Luk 21:12; Jhn 13:16
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.Jhn 16:3
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
He that hates me hates my Father also.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
But [this comes to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.Psa 69:4; Psa 35:19
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit [Ruach] of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:Luk 24:49; Jhn 14:26
And you2f also shall bear witness, because you2f have been with me from the beginning.Act 1:8; Act 2:32; 1Pe 5:1
