Dokonce prováděl vlastní syny ohněm v údolí Ben-hinom. Věštil, čaroval, kouzlil, zabýval se jasnovidectvím a vyvolával mrtvé. Napáchal v Hospodinových očích spoustu zla a popouzel ho k hněvu.
