KJV (66 books) +2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

AFINT (Exp US) +1 For we too have received the gospel just as they did; yet the message they heard brought them no advantage, because they were not united by faith with those who heard it.

AFINT (Lit US) +1 For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as to them; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who heard it.

ASV For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.

BSB +1 For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.

DRA For unto us also it hath been declared, in like manner as unto them. But the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith of those things they heard.

EMTV For indeed we have had the gospel preached to us just as those also; but the word which they heard did not profit those, not having been mixed with faith in those who heard it.

GNV For vnto vs was the Gospel preached as also vnto them: but the worde that they heard, profited not them, because it was not mixed with faith in those that heard it.

LSV for we also are having good news proclaimed, even as they, but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard,

NASB For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith. NASB 2020

NIV (US) +1 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

NMV For unto us was the Gospel (joyful message) preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

OJB For indeed we have had Besuras HaGeulah preached to us, just as they did also; but the Dvar Hashem preached did not make that generation benefit, because hearing did not form an agudah with emunah.

RV For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because they were not united by faith with them that heard.

TCENT For we also have received good news just as they did. But the message they heard did not benefit them, since they were not united by faith with those who listened.

T4T We have heard the message about Christ, just like the Israelites heard what God promised. But just like the message did not benefit most of those who heard it because they did not believe it as Joshua and Caleb did, it will not benefit us eternally if we do not keep believing it.

WEB (US) +7 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.
