KJV (66 books) +2 All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.

ASV +1 All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man hath power over another to his hurt.

BSB +1 All this I have seen, applying my mind to every deed that is done under the sun; there is a time when one man lords it over another to his own detriment.

DRA All these things I have considered, and applied my heart to all the works that are done under the sun. Sometimes one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.

FBV I examined all these things, and thought about all that happens here on earth, and the damage that's caused when people dominate others.

GNV All this haue I seene, and haue giuen mine heart to euery worke, which is wrought vnder the sunne, and I sawe a time that man ruleth ouer man to his owne hurt.

JPS All this have I seen, even applied my heart thereto, whatever the work that is done under the sun; what time one man had power over another to his hurt.

NASB All this I have seen, and have applied my mind to every deed that has been done under the sun at a time when one person has exercised authority over another person to his detriment. NASB 2020

NIV (US) +1 All this I saw, as I applied my mind to everything done under the sun. There is a time when a man lords it over others to his own hurt.

NMV All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: [there is] a time wherein one man rules over another to his own hurt.

OJB All this have I seen, and applied my lev unto every ma'aseh (labor, work) that has been done under the shemesh wherein one adam ruleth over another adam to the otherʼs hurt.

T4T I thought about all those things, and I thought about all [HYP] the other things that happen on this earth. I saw that sometimes people cause those whom they control to suffer.

WEB (US) +7 All this I have seen, and applied my mind to every work that is done under the sun. There is a time in which one man has power over another to his hurt.
