Pétur tók í höndina á lamaða manninum til að reisa hann upp. Um leið urðu fætur hans og ökklar styrkir og hann stökk á fætur. Hann stóð andartak kyrr, en fór síðan að ganga! Hann gekk, hljóp og lofaði Guð og fór svo með þeim inn í musterið.
