2Co 2.

Jhn 7:24; 2Co 13:10

B21 7To si vidíte jen na špičku nosu? Kdo je přesvědčen, že patří Kristu, ať si uvědomí, že jako patří Kristu on, tak mu patříme i my. 8Mohl bych se tou pravomocí, kterou mi Pán dal k vašemu budování, a ne k boření, chlubit ještě více a nebyl bych zahanben.
BKR 7A což toliko na to, co před očima jest, hledíte? Má-li kdo tu naději o sobě, že by Kristův byl, pomysliž také na to sám u sebe, že jakož on jest Kristův, tak i my Kristovi jsme. 8Nebo bychť se pak i ještě hojněji chlubil mocí naší, kterouž nám dal Pán vzdělání a ne k zkažení vašemu, nebuduť zahanben;

KJV (66 books) 7Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s. 8For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
AFINT (Exp US) 7You are judging by outward appearance. If anyone is convinced that he belongs to Christ, let him consider again that just as he belongs to Christ, so do we. 8For even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be put to shame.
AFINT (Lit US) 7You are perceiving things according to appearance. If anyone is convinced in himself that he belongs to Christ, let him reflect on this again within himself, that just as he belongs to Christ, so also are we. 8For even if I boast somewhat more about our authority which the Lord gave us for building you up and not for pulling you down, I will not be ashamed,
ASV 7Ye look at the things that are before your face. If any man trusteth in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ’s, so also are we. 8For though I should glory somewhat abundantly concerning our authority (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down), I shall not be put to shame:
BSB 7You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that we belong to Christ just as much as he does. 8For even if I boast somewhat excessively about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed.
DRA 7See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ’s, let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ’s, so are we also. 8For if also I should boast somewhat more of our power, which the Lord hath given us unto edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed.
EMTV 7Do you look at things as they appear? If anyone has persuaded himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider this in himself, that just as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's. 8For even if I should boast somewhat more concerning our authority, which the Lord gave us for edification and not for your destruction, I will not be ashamed,
FBV 7Look at what's staring you in the face! Anyone who considers that they belong to Christ should think again—just as they belong to Christ, so do we! 8Even though I may seem to be boasting a little too much about our authority, I'm not embarrassed about it. The Lord gave this authority to us to build you up, not to knock you down.
GNV 7Looke yee on things after the appearance? If any man trust in himselfe that hee is Christes, let him consider this againe of himself, that as he is Christes, euen so are we Christes. 8For though I shoulde boast somewhat more of our authoritie, which the Lord hath giuen vs for edification, and not for your destruction, I should haue no shame.
LSV 7Yöu see the outward appearance. If anyone has trusted in himself to be Christ’s, let him reckon this again from himself, that according as he is Christ’s, so also we [are] Christ’s; 8for even if I will also boast anything more abundantly concerning our authority, that the LORD gave us for building up, and not for casting yöu down, I will not be ashamed,
MSB 7You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that we belong to Christ just as much as he belongs to Christ. 8For even if I boast somewhat excessively about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed.
NASB 7You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ’s, have him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ’s, so too are we. 8For if I boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame, NASB 2020
NIV (US) 7You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do. 8So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.
NMV 7Do you2f look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Moshiach [Messiah]’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [is] Moshiach [Messiah]’s, even so [are] we Moshiach [Messiah]’s. 8For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord - Kurios has given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
OJB 7You look at things according to outward appearance. If anyone has persuaded himself that he belongs to Moshiach, have zikaron (recollection) of this: as he is of Moshiach, so also are we. 8Now even if I should glory a little too much in our samchut (authority) [as Shlichim of Moshiach] which Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Adoneinu gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will make good my claim.
TCENT 7Are you looking only at outward appearances? If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that just as he belongs to Christ, so we also belong to Christ. 8For even if I boast somewhat further about our authority (which the Lord has given us for building you up and not for tearing you down), I will not be ashamed.
T4T 7I want you to understand what is happening among you. There are certain people there who are telling you that they know for sure that they are Christ’s representatives and that I am not. Those people should realize that I represent Christ as much as they do. 8I say that because the authority that the Lord gave me as his apostle is to help you to become mature believers, not to cause you to stop trusting in Christ. So even if I were to boast a little more than I have already done (OR, proudly talk a little more than I have already talked about the authority the Lord gave me as his apostle), no one would be able to make me ashamed by proving that Jesus has not given me that authority.
WEB (US) 7Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that even as he is Christ’s, so we also are Christ’s. 8For even if I boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for casting you down, I will not be ashamed,
WMB (US) 7Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Messiah’s, let him consider this again with himself, that even as he is Messiah’s, so we also are Messiah’s. 8For even if I boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for casting you down, I will not be ashamed,
