BKR Věrou napomenut jsa od Boha Noé o tom, čehož ještě nebylo viděti, boje se, připravoval koráb k zachování domu svého; skrze kterýžto koráb odsoudil svět, a spravedlnosti té, kteráž jest z víry, učiněn jest dědicem.

SNC Noe uvěřil Bohu, který mu předpověděl potopu, ačkoliv na ni v té době ještě nic neukazovalo. Poslušně začal stavět loď k záchraně své rodiny. Svou vírou vynesl soud nad světem a dosáhl dokonalosti, která je z víry.
