Moreover Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] consecrated the middle of the court that [was] before the house of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.1Ki 8:64

The priests burned them there in the courtyard because in addition to those things there were offerings of grain, with the result that there was not enough space on the bronze altar to burn all those sacrifices.
