RV1909 No visitaré sobre vuestras hijas cuando fornicaren, ni sobre vuestras nueras cuando adulteraren: porque ellos ofrecen con las rameras, y con las malas mujeres sacrifican: por tanto, el pueblo sin entendimiento caerá.

NBV Pero, ¿por qué habré de castigarlas a ellas? Pues ustedes los hombres están haciendo lo mismo; ustedes se acuestan con las prostitutas que ofrecen sus cuerpos como culto a sus dioses, y junto con ellas ofrecen sacrificios rituales a esos dioses. ¡Por eso es que el pueblo, carente del verdadero conocimiento de Dios, actúa tan mal y se destruye a sí mismo!
