RV1909 ¿Matáronlo luego Ezechîas rey de Judá y todo Judá? ¿no temió á Jehová, y oró en presencia de Jehová, y Jehová se arrepintió del mal que había hablado contra ellos? ¿Haremos pues nosotros tan grande mal contra nuestras almas?

NBV Pero, ¿lo mataron acaso el rey Ezequías y el pueblo por decir eso? No, sino que dejaron sus actos malvados y rindieron homenaje al Señor y le suplicaron que tuviera misericordia de ellos. Y el Señor no les envió el terrible castigo que les había preparado. Si por comunicarnos los mensajes de Dios matamos a Jeremías, ¡quién sabe qué nos hará el Señor!
