Kdo tedy věří v Ježíše jako v Božího Syna, dává Bohu za pravdu. Kdo Bohu nevěří, dělá z něho lháře, protože odmítá svědectví Otce o Synu. Kdo přijímá toto svědectví, stojí na prahu věčného života. Dveře nám otevřel Boží Syn. Bez něho se dovnitř nedostaneme.
