Protože Joakim odváděl faraonovi stříbro a zlato, musel zemi zdanit. Kvůli faraonovu příkazu tedy každý platil stříbro, jak mu bylo vyměřeno. Joakim to stříbro a zlato vymáhal od lidu země, aby ho mohl odevzdat faraonu Nekóovi.2Ch 36:4
