Col Colossians, chapter Epistle to the Colossians, chapter 1
Sha’ul [desired], an apostle of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] by the will of God-The Father, and Timothy [honoring God] [our] brother,
To the saints and faithful brethren in Moshiach [Messiah] which are at Colosse: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God-The Father our Father and the Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].
We give thanks to God-The Father and the Father of our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], praying always for you,Php 1:3
Since we heard of your faith in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation], and of the love [which you2f have] to all the saints,Heb 6:10
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof you2f heard before in the word of the tof the Gospel (joyful message);
Which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and brings forth fruit, and is growing, as [it does] also in you, since the day you2f heard [of it], and knew the grace of God-The Father in truth:Mat 13:8; Jhn 15:16
As you2f also learned of Epaphras [lovely] our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Moshiach [Messiah];
Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit [Ruach].
For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you2f might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;Rom 12:2
That you2f might walk worthy of the Lord - Kurios unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God-The Father;Eph 4:1; Php 1:27; 1Th 2:12
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;Act 5:41
Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:Act 26:18
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:Mat 3:17; Heb 2:15
In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:Rom 3:25
Who is the image of the invisible God-The Father, the firstborn of every creature:Pro 8:22; Heb 1:3
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or Principalities (rulers or their territory), or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:Jhn 1:3; Eph 3:9; Heb 1:2
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.Jhn 1:1
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.Rom 8:29; 1Co 15:20; Eph 1:22
For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fullness dwell;Col 2:9
And, having made peace through the blood of his stake (cross), by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.Isa 9:6; Luk 2:14
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:Luk 1:75; Rom 5:10; 1Co 1:2; Eph 1:4; Tit 2:14
If you2f continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the Gospel (joyful message), which you2f have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Sha’ul [desired] am made a minister;
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Moshiach [Messiah] in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:Rom 5:3
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God-The Father which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God-The Father;1Co 4:1; 1Co 9:17
[Even] the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:Rom 16:25; Eph 3:9
To whom God-The Father would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Goyim [Gentiles]; which is Moshiach [Messiah] in you, the hope of glory:Rom 9:23; Eph 3:17
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation]:2Co 11:2
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.1Co 15:10; Php 2:13
