Isa Isaiah, chapter Book of Isaiah, chapter 1
The vision of Yesha’yahu [Yehovah has saved] the son of Amotz [strong], which he saw concerning Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] in the days of ‘Uziyah [my strength is Yehovah], Toram [Yehovah is Perfect], Achaz [he has grasped], [and] Hizkiyahu [Yehovah is my strength], kings of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised].
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.Deu 32:1
The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: [but] Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] does not know, my people does not consider.Deu 32:6
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), they have provoked the Holy One of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] unto anger, they are gone away backward.Isa 30:9; Isa 57:3; Dan 9:5
Why should you2f be stricken anymore? you2f will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.Jer 2:30; Jer 4:19
From the sole of the foot even unto the head [there is] no soundness in it; [but] wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified (be softened; appeased) with ointment.Deu 28:35
Your country [is] desolate, your cities [are] burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and [it is] desolate, as overthrown by strangers.Deu 28:51; Isa 5:5
And the daughter of Tziyon [parched place] is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
Except the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as S’dom [Burning], [and] we should have been like unto ‘Amora [Submersion].Lam 3:22; Rom 9:29; Gen 19:24; Jer 23:14
Hear the word of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), you2f rulers of S’dom [Burning]; give ear unto the Torah of our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], you2f people of ‘Amora [Submersion].
To what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.Pro 15:8; Isa 66:3; Jer 6:20; Amo 5:21
When you2f come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?Jer 7:22
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Shabbat, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; [it is] iniquity, even the solemn meeting.Pro 21:27
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear [them].
And when you2f spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yes, when you2f make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.Pro 1:28; Jer 14:12; Ezk 8:18; Mic 3:4; Isa 59:3
Wash you, make yourself clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;Psa 34:14; 1Pe 3:11
Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.Psa 82:4
Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.Isa 41:1; Isa 43:25; Isa 44:22
If you2f be willing and obedient, you2f shall eat the good of the land:Lev 25:18
But if you2f refuse and rebel, you2f shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has spoken [it].
How is the faithful city become an prostitute! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.Mat 23:34; Mat 23:37
Your1s silver is become scum, youri wine mixed with water:Jer 6:30; Ezk 22:18
Your1s princes [are] rebellious, and companions of thieves: everyone loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they defend not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.Hos 9:15; Exo 22:22; Jer 5:28; Zec 7:10
Therefore says the Lord-Adon [Lord of the Earth], the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], the mighty One of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], Ah, I will free myself of my adversaries, and avenge me of my enemies:Deu 28:63
And I will turn my hand upon youi, and purely purge away youri scum, and take away all youri tin:Isa 1:22; Mal 3:2
And I will restore youri as at the first, and youri counselors as at the beginning: afterward youi shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.Jer 33:16
Tziyon [parched place] shall be redeemed with judgment, and her repentant [ones] with righteousness.
And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners [shall be] together, and they that forsake the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall be consumed.Job 31:3; Psa 1:6
For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which you2f have desired, and you2f shall be confounded for the gardens that you2f have chosen.Isa 65:3; Hos 4:13
For you2f shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.Psa 1:3
And the strong shall be as tinder, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench [them].Mal 4:1
