BKR Taková tedy majíce zaslíbení, nejmilejší, očišťujmež se od všeliké poskvrny těla i ducha, konajíce posvěcení naše v bázni Boží.

SNC Mějme na paměti, milí přátelé, že tyto sliby platí právě nám. Zřekněme se proto všeho, co špiní tělo nebo duši. Berme vážně Boží slova a usilujeme o to, abychom se Bohu líbili.

BLT Queridos amigos, por termos essas promessas, devemos nos limpar de tudo o que deixa tanto nosso corpo quanto nosso espírito impuros, buscando a santidade completa, por meio do respeito a Deus.

NBV-P Queridos amigos, tendo promessas tão grandes como estas, afastemo-nos de tudo o que contamina o corpo e o espírito, e nos purifiquemos, vivendo no temor a Deus, dedicando-nos somente a ele.

TfTP Meus amigos, a quem amo, já que Deus prometeu assim aceitar-nos (inc) como filhos dele, nós (inc) devemos deixar de fazer qualquer coisa que seja pecaminosa.
