KJV (66 books) 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
AFINT (Exp US) 12For all who have sinned without having the written Mosaic Law will also perish without being judged by that Law, and all who have sinned while possessing the Law will be judged according to the standards of that Law. 13For it is not merely those who hear the Law read and taught who are righteous and acceptable before God, but rather those who actually obey and do what the Law requires will be justified or declared righteous. 14For when Gentiles, who do not possess the written Mosaic Law, instinctively do by their God-given conscience the moral requirements contained in the Law, these people, though not having the written Law, serve as a law to themselves through their conscience. 15They demonstrate that the essential moral work and requirements of the Law are written on their hearts by the Creator, with their conscience bearing witness to this inner moral knowledge, and their conflicting thoughts either accusing them when they do wrong or defending them when they do right.
AFINT (Lit US) 12For as many as have sinned apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and as many as have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law. 13For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things contained in the Law, these, who do not have the Law, are a law to themselves, 15who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,
ASV 12For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without the law: and as many as have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law; 13for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified; 14(for when Gentiles that have not the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are the law unto themselves; 15in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing them);
BSB 12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous. 14Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15So they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them
DRA 12For whosoever have sinned without the law, shall perish without the law; and whosoever have sinned in the law, shall be judged by the law. 13For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves: 15Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,
EMTV 12For all who have sinned without the law shall also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law 13(for it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified; 14for whenever Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, these, not having the law, are a law unto themselves, 15who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience witnessing with them, and among themselves their thoughts accuse or even defend them),
FBV 12Those who sin even though they don't have the written law are still lost, while those who sin that do have the written law will be condemned by that law. 13Just listening to what the law says doesn't make you right in God's sight. It's those who do what the law says who are made right. 14The foreigners don't have the written law, but when they instinctively do what it says, they are following the law even without having the written law. 15In this way they show how the law works that's written in their minds. As they think about what they're doing, their conscience either accuses them for doing wrong or defends them for doing what is good and right.
GNV 12For as many as haue sinned without the Lawe, shall perish also without the Lawe: and as many as haue sinned in the Lawe, shall be iudged by the Lawe, 13(For the hearers of the Lawe are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Lawe shalbe iustified. 14For when the Gentiles which haue not the Lawe, doe by nature, the things conteined in the Lawe, they hauing not the Lawe, are a Lawe vnto themselues, 15Which shew the effect of the Lawe written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witnes, and their thoughts accusing one another, or excusing,)
LSV 12for as many as sinned without law, will also perish without law, and as many as sinned in law, through law will be judged, 13for not the hearers of the Law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous. 14For when nations that have no law, by nature may do the things of the Law, these not having a law—to themselves are a law, 15who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also witnessing with them, and between one another the thoughts accusing or else defending,
NIV (US) 12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)
NMV 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God-The Father, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Goyim [Gentiles], which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
OJB 12For as many as have committed averos and sinned lacking the Torah shall also perish lacking the Torah; and as many as have committed averos (sin) under the Torah shall be condemned under the Torah. 13For it is not the Shomei HaTorah (hearers of the Law of Moshe Rabbeinu) who are the tzaddikim who are accounted to be YITZDAK IM HASHEM (justified with G-d). It is the Shomrei HaTorah (the keepers of the Torah) who will be counted to be YITZDAK IM HASHEM. 14For when non-Jews who have not a Torah, may do by nature what the Torah requires, they not having a Torah are a gezetz (law) for themselves, 15In that they demonstrate the Torah at work, the Torah written in their levavot, their matzpun (conscience) also bearing witness, while their thoughts bring accusation or even make defense among themselves,
RV 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned under law shall be judged by law; 13for not the hearers of a law are just before God, but the doers of a law shall be justified: 14for when Gentiles which have no law do by nature the things of the law, these, having no law, are a law unto themselves; 15in that they shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing them;
TCENT 12For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified. 14For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what is required by the law, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15They show that what the law requires is written in their hearts, as their conscience bears witness with them and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even defend them
T4T 12Although non-Jews do not have the laws that God gave to Moses, all non-Jews who sin will be eternally separated from God. He will not consider whether or not they knew the laws that he gave to Moses. And all the Jews who have sinned in spite of knowing the laws that God gave to Moses will also be punished {God will also punish them}. They will be punished for disobeying God’s laws. 13It is right for them to be punished {God to punish them} because it is not those who merely know God’s laws whom he considers to be righteous. On the contrary, it is only those who continually have obeyed all ◄of God’s laws/of the laws that God gave to Moses► ◄whom God will consider righteous/whose record of sins God will erase►. 14Whenever the non-Jews, who do not have the laws God gave to Moses, naturally obey those laws, they prove that they have a law within their own minds, even though they do not have the laws God gave to Moses. 15They show that they know in their own minds what God commands in his laws [MET], as each person in his very own conscience either accuses or excuses/defends himself concerning his own behavior.
