Php Philippians, chapter Epistle to the Philippians, chapter 1
Sha’ul [desired] and Timothy [honoring God], the servants of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], to all the saints in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] which are at Philippi [lover of horses], with the bishops and deacons:
Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God-The Father our Father, and [from] the Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].
I thank my God-The Father upon every remembrance of you,1Th 1:2
Always in every prayer of my for you all making request with joy,
For your fellowship in the Gospel (joyful message) from the first day until now;
Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will finish [it] until the day of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah]:Jhn 6:29; 1Th 1:3
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel (joyful message), you2f all are partakers of my grace.
For God-The Father is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels (inward parts; affections) of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;
That you2f may approve things that are excellent; that you2f may be sincere and without offence till the day of Moshiach [Messiah];1Th 5:23
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], unto the glory and praise of God-The Father.Mat 5:16; Jhn 15:8
But I would you2f should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the Gospel (joyful message);
So that my bonds in Moshiach [Messiah] are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];Act 21:11
And many of the brethren in the Lord - Kurios, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.Eph 3:13
Some indeed preach Moshiach [Messiah] even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:2Co 2:17
The one preach Moshiach [Messiah] of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the Gospel (joyful message).
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Moshiach [Messiah] is preached; and I in it do rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit [Ruach] of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah],
According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Moshiach [Messiah] shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death.
For to me to live [is] Moshiach [Messiah], and to die [is] gain.Gal 2:20
But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I know not.
For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Moshiach [Messiah]; which is far better:2Co 5:8
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] for me by my coming to you again.2Co 1:14; Php 2:16
Only let your Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) be as it becomes the Gospel (joyful message) of Moshiach [Messiah]: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you2f stand fast in one Spirit [Ruach], with one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel (joyful message);Eph 4:1; Col 1:10; 1Th 2:12
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God-The Father.Luk 12:4
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Moshiach [Messiah], not only to believe on him, but also to suffer (allow, to let, permit) for his sake;Act 5:41
Having the same conflict which you2f saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.1Th 2:2
