Rom Romans, chapter Epistle to the Romans, chapter 5
Having been declared righteous, then, by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Luk 2:14; Eph 2:16; Col 1:20through whom also we have the access by faith into this grace in which we have stood, and we boast on the hope of the glory of God. Jhn 14:6; Eph 2:18; Heb 10:19And not only [so], but we also boast in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works endurance; Jas 1:2; 2Co 12:10and the endurance, experience; and the experience, hope; and the hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God has been poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. Psa 22:5; Rom 8:16; 2Co 1:22For in our being still ailing, Christ in due time died for the impious; 1Pe 3:18; Heb 9:15for scarcely for a righteous man will anyone die, for the good man perhaps someone also dares to die; and God commends His own love to us, that, in our being still sinners, Christ died for us; Jhn 15:13; 1Jn 3:16much more, then, having been declared righteous now in His blood, we will be saved through Him from the wrath; Rom 3:25; 1Th 1:10for if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in His life. 2Co 5:18; Col 1:22And not only [so], but we are also boasting in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation; because of this, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin—death; and thus to all men death passed through, for that all sinned; Gen 2:17; Rom 6:23; 1Co 15:21for until law sin was in the world: and sin is not reckoned when there is not law; Rom 4:15but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even on those having not sinned in the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is a type of Him who is coming. 1Co 15:21But not as the offense so also [is] the free gift; for if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the free gift in grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abound to the many; Jhn 1:16; Eph 1:6and not as through one who sinned [is] the free gift, for the judgment indeed [is] of one to condemnation, but the gift [is] of many offenses to a declaration of “Righteous,” for if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and of the free gift of righteousness, in life will reign through the one—Jesus Christ. 2Ti 2:12; Rev 1:6; Rev 22:5So, then, as through one offense to all men [it is] to condemnation, so also through one declaration of “Righteous” [it is] to all men to justification of life; for as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were constituted sinners: so also through the obedience of the One, will the many be constituted righteous. Isa 53:11; Php 2:8And law came in, that the offense might abound, and where sin abounded, grace hyper-abounded, Rom 7:8; Gal 3:19that even as sin reigned in death, so also grace may reign, through righteousness, to continuous life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
