A protož, což jest Bůh spojil, člověk nerozlučuj.
4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
4And in response, He said, “Have you not read in the Scripture that the One who created them from the beginning made them male and female in His design, 5and said, ‘For this reason, a man will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife in covenant, and the two will become one flesh in marriage union’? 6So, they are no longer two separate individuals, but one flesh united by God. Therefore, what God has united together in marriage, let no man separate through divorce.”
4And in response, He said, “Have you not read that the One who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, ‘For this reason, a man will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has united together, let no man separate.”
ASV4And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? 6So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
BSB4Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ? 6So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
DRA4Who answering, said to them: Have ye not read, that he who made man from the beginning, Made them male and female? And he said: 5For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh. 6Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.
EMTV4And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5and He said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
FBV4Jesus replied, “Haven't you read that God who created people in the beginning made them male and female? 5He said, ‘This is the reason a man will leave his father and mother, and join with his wife, and the two shall become one.’ 6Now they're no longer two, but one. What God has joined together no one should separate.”
GNV4And he answered and sayd vnto them, Haue ye not read, that hee which made them at the beginning, made them male and female, 5And sayd, For this cause, shall a man leaue father and mother, and cleaue vnto his wife, and they which were two shalbe one flesh. 6Wherefore they are no more twaine, but one flesh. Let not man therefore put asunder that, which God hath coupled together.
LSV4And He answering said to them, “Did yöu not read that He who made [them] from the beginning, made them a male and a female, 5and said, For this cause will a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they will be—the two—for one flesh? 6So that they are no longer two, but one flesh; what therefore God joined together, let no man separate.”
MSB4Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ? 6So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
NASB4And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.”NASB 2020
4“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
NMV4He answered them: “Have you not read that He who made them of old, male and female He created them”. 5He said: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and cleave (split open; cut open; divide) to his wife and they will become one flesh”. 6“If so, they are not two but one flesh, and whatever The Creator has joined together man is unable to separate”
OJB4But Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said in reply, Have you not read that HaBoreh (The Creator, Yotzer) bereshis (in the beginning) created them zachar (male) and nekevah (female)? 5And he said, AL KEN, YAAZAV ISH ES AVIV V'ES IMMO V'DAVAK B'ISHTO V'HAYU L'VASAR ECHAD (a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined to his isha (wife), and the two will be one flesh). 6So they are no longer shnayim (two) but basar echad (one flesh). Therefore, whatever Hashem joined together, let no man divide asunder.
RV4And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he which made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the twain shall become one flesh? 6So that they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
TCENT4He answered them, “Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6So then, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
T4T4Jesus said to them, “Because you have read [RHQ] the Scriptures, you should know that at the time God first created people, ‘he made one man, and he made one woman to be that man’s wife.’ 5That explains why God said, ‘When a man and woman marry, they should no longer live with their fathers and mothers. Instead, the two of them shall live together, and they shall become so closely united that they are like one person [MET].’ 6Consequently, although they functioned as two separate people before, they now become as if they were one person [MET]. Since that is true, a man must not separate from his wife whom God has joined to him, because it is God’s plan for them to remain together.”
4He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’? 6So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
