To by Bůh v pozdější době nemluvil o jiném odpočinku. Tím, že znovu řekl: „Nedosáhnou mého odpočinku,“ ukázal, že dále zůstává možnost dosažení odpočinku. Proto později skrze Davida nabízí novou příležitost: „Jestliže uslyšíte dnes jeho hlas, nezatvrzujte se proti němu.“

KJV (66 books) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

AFINT (Exp US) He once more establishes a specific day—”Today”—communicating through David after considerable time, just as previously stated, “Today, should you perceive His voice, do not make your hearts rigid.”

AFINT (Lit US) He again appoints a certain day, “Today,” speaking through David after so long a time, just as has been previously said, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

ASV he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.

BSB God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

DRA Again he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time, as it is above said: Today if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

EMTV again He appoints a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a time, just as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

FBV So God again sets a day—today—saying a long time later through David as he did before, “If you hear what God is saying to you today, don't have a hard-hearted attitude.”

GNV Againe he appointed in Dauid a certaine day, by To day, after so long a time, saying, as it is sayd, This day, if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts.

LSV again He limits a certain day, “Today,” in David saying, after so long a time, as it has been said, “Today, if yöu may hear His voice, yöu may not harden yöur hearts,”

OJB So then again Hashem sets a certain day, “HAYOM” (Today) in one of the Tehillim of Dovid, much later, in that quoted above, “HAYOM IM BEKOLO TISHMAU AL TAKSHU LEVAVCHEM” (Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart).

TCENT he again designates a certain day, calling it “Today,” as he says through David much later, in the passage already quoted, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

T4T But God appointed another time when we may enter that place of resting. That time is now! We know that is true because much later than when the Israelites rebelled against God in the desert, he caused King David to write what I have already quoted, Now, when you understand what God is saying to you, do not stubbornly disobey him.

WEB (US) he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”
