Kun he olivat jo lähellä taloa, upseeri lähetti muutamia ystäviään sanomaan: »Herra, älä vaivaudu tulemaan kotiini, sillä en ansaitse sellaista kunniaa enkä ole tarpeeksi hyvä edes tulemaan luoksesi. Voit varmasti parantaa palvelijani pelkällä sanalla siinä, missä nyt olet.
