For you2f have not received the Spirit [Ruach] of bondage again to fear; but you2f have received the Spirit [Ruach] of sonship, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.1Jn 4:18; 1Co 2:12; Heb 2:15
For you did not receive a spirit that enslaves you and leads you back into fear and bondage, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whose power we cry out intimately, “Abba! Father!”—addressing God with the affection and confidence of beloved children.
For you have not received a spirit of bondage leading to fear again, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we call aloud, “Abba! Father!”
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption to sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
DRAFor you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
EMTVFor you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
FBVYou were not given a spirit to enslave and terrify you once more. No, what you received was the spirit that makes you children in God's family. Now we can shout out, “God is our Father!”
GNVFor ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.
LSVfor yöu did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but yöu received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, “Abba! Father!”
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
OJBFor you did not receive a spirit of avdut, falling back into pachad (fear); but you received the Ruach of Mishpat HaBanim (Adoption), having Ma'amad HaBanim (the standing as Sons), by which we cry, “Abba, Avinu!”
TCENTFor you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but a spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
T4TYou have showed that this is true, because you received from God a Spirit that is not one that makes you fear God again. You are not like slaves who fear their masters [MET]. On the contrary, we have received a Spirit by whose work in our hearts God has adopted us. The Spirit now enables us to cry out to God, “You(sg) are my Father [DOU]!”
For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

OLOVið eigum því ekki að líkjast hræddum og niðurlútum þrælum, heldur eigum við að hegða okkur eins og einkabörn Guðs. Hann hefur tekið okkur inn í fjölskyldu sína og leyft okkur að kalla sig föður, já, pabba!
