Po mnoha letech se Bohu zalíbilo, aby perský král vypravil Nehemiáše zpět. Ten poslal potomky těch kněží, kteří kdysi oheň ukryli, ať ho najdou. Když nám oznámili, že nenašli oheň, ale nějakou hustou tekutinu, přikázal jim, ať ji naberou a přinesou.

Maar toen het na verloop van veel lange jaren Gode behaagde, dat Nehemias door den koning van Perzië werd teruggezonden, ontbood deze de afstammelingen van de priesters, die het vuur hadden verborgen, en liet het hen zoeken. Zij deelden Nehemias echter mede, dat er geen vuur was te vinden, maar alleen drabbig water. Toch beval hij hun, er wat van te scheppen en het mee te brengen.
