BKR Kdož věří v Syna Božího, máť svědectví sám v sobě. Kdož pak nevěří Bohu, lhářem jej učinil; nebo neuvěřil tomu svědectví, kteréž vysvědčil Bůh o Synu svém.

SNC [5:10–12] Kdo tedy věří v Ježíše jako v Božího Syna, dává Bohu za pravdu. Kdo Bohu nevěří, dělá z něho lháře, protože odmítá svědectví Otce o Synu. Kdo přijímá toto svědectví, stojí na prahu věčného života. Dveře nám otevřel Boží Syn. Bez něho se dovnitř nedostaneme.

BLT Aqueles que creem no Filho de Deus aceitaram essa prova e se apegaram a ela. Mas aqueles que não creem em Deus fazem dele um mentiroso, pois eles não acreditam na prova que Deus nos deu sobre o seu Filho.

NBV-P Todos os que creem no Filho de Deus sabem, em seus próprios corações, que isto é verdade. Se alguém não crê nisto, na realidade está chamando Deus de mentiroso, porque não crê no que Deus afirmou a respeito do seu Filho.
