헤스본에서 모압을 해칠 작전을 세우며48:2 헤스본…작전을 세우며 바빌론의 군대가 모압의 북쪽 국경에 있는 헤스본을 함락하고, 거기에서 모압을 칠 작전계획을 세운다는 뜻을 암시하는데, ‘작전을 세운다.’는 말이 히브리어로는 ‘하슈부’로, 헤스본과 발음이 비슷한 것을 이용해 말놀이를 하고 있다.
‘가서 이 민족을 끝장내자.’고 하는구나.
