RV1909 ¹³Levántate, oh Jehová; Prevén su encuentro, póstrale: Libra mi alma del malo con tu espada; ¹⁴De los hombres con tu mano, oh Jehová, De los hombres de mundo, cuya parte es en esta vida, Y cuyo vientre hinches de tu tesoro: Hartan sus hijos, Y dejan el resto á sus chiquitos.

NBV ¹³Señor, levántate y haz que caigan de rodillas. Rescátame de los malvados con tu espada. ¹⁴Líbrame con tu poderosa mano de estos mortales cuyo único interés está en la ganancia terrena. Con tus tesoros les has llenado el vientre, sus hijos han tenido abundancia, y hasta ha sobrado para sus descendientes.
