Låt din nåd (kärleksfulla omsorg; trofasthet) och din sanning (stabilitet, fasthet, trofasthet) alltid (fortsättningsvis – både dagligen och evigt) bevara mig. [Nåd och sanning i vers 11-12 (hebr. chesed ve emet) hör oskiljaktigt ihop. De presenteras alltid i samma inbördes ordning och återfinns i Guds eget vittnesbörd, se 2 Mos 34:6.
