[Meningen inleds med ett adverb ”där” (hebr. sham) som ger en dramatisk effekt: Titta där ligger de! Verbformen i meningen ändras också och antyder att de ondas fall har skett mitt framför ögonen på bedjaren. Men hur har det skett? Svaret finns i verbet ”omkullkastade” (hebr. dachah) i den andra delen av vers 13. Verbformen är passiv, vilket indikerar att det är någon som har orsakat deras fall. Gud har gripit in. Det blir helt tydligt i den sista delen av meningen som bekräftar att de inte kommer att resa sig igen och fallet är slutgiltigt!]
