1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
AFINT (Exp US)1Therefore, you are without excuse before God, O morally self-righteous person, whoever you are who sits in judgment over others. For in the very act of passing judgment on another person, you are actually condemning yourself, because you who claim moral superiority practice the very same kinds of sins you condemn in others. 2And we know with certainty that God’s judgment falls according to truth—not according to outward appearances or self-deception—against those who practice such sinful things.

AFINT (Lit US)1Therefore, you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges. For in that which you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge practice the same things. 2And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

1You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on another. For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
DRA1Wherefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself. For thou dost the same things which thou judgest. 2For we know that the judgment of God is, according to truth, against them that do such things.

GNV1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoeuer thou art that condemnest: for in that that thou condemnest another, thou condemnest thy selfe: for thou that condemnest, doest the same things. 2But we know that the iudgement of God is according to trueth, against them which comit such things.
LSV1Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man—everyone who is judging—for in that in which you judge the other, yourself you condemn, for the same things you practice who are judging, 2and we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, on those practicing such things.
NASB1Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.NASB 2020
1You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
NMV1Therefore youi are inexcusable, O man, whosoever youi are that judge: for wherein youi judge another, youi condemn yourself; for youi that judge do the same things. 2But we are sure that the judgment of God-The Father is according to tagainst them which commit such things.
OJB1For in that you pass judgment on the other, you condemn yourself; for you practice the very things on which you pass judgment. 2And we have da'as that the judgment of Hashem HaShofet against those who practice such things is in accordance with HaEmes Hashem.
TCENT1Therefore yoʋ are without excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For on whatever grounds yoʋ judge another, yoʋ condemn yoʋrself, for yoʋ who judge do the same things. 2Now we know that the judgment of God against those who do such things is in accordance with truth.
T4T1God will severely punish non-Jewish people who habitually do evil things, because he has clearly revealed that he is angry with them. So, when God judges people, he will not excuse any one of you Jews to whom I am writing. You (sg) say that God should punish non-Jews for doing evil things. But when any one of you says that, it is you yourself whom you are saying that God should punish, because you (sg) do some of the same evil things that the non-Jews do. 2We know very well that God will judge and punish fairly non-Jewish people who do such evil things.
1Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things. 2We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.
