SKB ”Överlämna (rulla eller flytta över) dig åt Herren (Jahveh)! Han får befria honom, han får rädda (rycka bort) honom – om han nu har sådant behag (sådan kärlek) till honom.” [Ordet för ”överlämna” (hebr. galal) betyder att rent bokstavligt rulla undan och flytta något. Den mer abstrakta betydelsen är att ”rulla över” till någon, att överlämna sig och förtrösta, se Ps 37:5; Ords 16:3. Första gången ordet används är i 1 Mos 29:3, när Jakob vältrar undan en sten från en brunn.
