Avskildhet/isolering (hebr. badad) används ofta även som ett adjektiv eller adverb (ensam, själv, separat, bara) och kan här antingen syfta på att det bara är Herren som kan göra detta, eller att David kommer få vara i trygghet och avskildhet. Sett ur ett bredare perspektiv, så är det något gott att även folket får vara avskilda i trygghet och vistas under Guds välsignelse. David avslutar som han börjar med att rikta sig direkt till Herren, se vers 2. Gud har svarat på hans bön.]
